Course Overview

AP U.S. Government and Politics is an engaging and rigorous course that provides an in-depth understanding of the foundations, principles, and functioning of the U.S. government and political system. This course covers the Constitution, political beliefs and behaviors, political parties, interest groups, mass media, institutions of national government, public policy, and civil rights and liberties.
