Here's a pathway for you to participate in math competitions from kindergarten to grade 12:

 

Grades K-5:

    • -Participate in local math competitions or math clubs at school.
    • -Explore online resources and math enrichment programs for young students.
    • -Consider participating in competitions like Math Kangaroo or Math Olympiad for Elementary and Middle Schools (MOEMS).
    • -Recommended StarlyPath courses: 

 

Grades 6-8:

    • -Join your school's math club or MathCounts team.
    • -Compete in MathCounts competitions at the school, chapter, state, and potentially national levels.
    • -Take the AMC 8 exam, typically offered in November each year.
    • -Prepare for other local or regional math competitions, such as Math League Contests or Purple Comet! Math Meet.
    • -Aim to qualify for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) through the AMC 10 exam.
